New job and new brooch - Trabajo nuevo y broche nuevo

Last inedible brooch with carrot cake and pancake newbies - El último broche de la serie no comestible con la nueva entrada dela tarta de zanahoria y tortita.

First of all , I would like to apologise for not blogging more often. I just started a new job in a very nice high school (Yes!!) . I will try to sort my timetable in a better way so that I can craft and post more often. I got very quickly used to my summer holiday.
This is a custom brooch, though I was given complete freedom to do it. It has velvet and sating ribbons. Two new additions are featured in this brooch: The typical English Carrot Cake and the Pancake, apart form that, chocolate and muffin as in the previous inedible brooches.
Antes de nada, me gustar'ia disculparme por no postear más a menudo. Acabo de empezar en un trabajo nuevo, en un instituto bastante bueno (¡Sí!). Intentaré de arreglarmelas con mi horario para poder hacer un poco de artesanía y trabajar al mismo tiempo. Me había acostumbrado rapidamente a las vacaciones de verano.
Este es un broche personalizado, aunque me dieron total livertad para realizarlo. Tiene un lazo de terciopelo y otro de satín sobrepuesto. Dos nuevas entradas: el típico Pastel de Zanahoria Inglés y la Tortita, aparte de eso, chocolate y pastelillo como en los anteriores de la serie "no comestible".



The Carrort Cake needs a lot of attention to be made, I would dare say as much as th true one, as I have to do glazing and icing details in miniature, and things are done in several steps. I am planning some vintage style earrings with these too. I am quite glad about the result of the pancake, quite translucent and real.... I am starting to get it better and better.
La tarta de Zanahora requiere mucha atención a la hora de hacerla, me atrevería a decir que tanta como la tarta real porque tengo que hacer el glaseado y los detalles (la mini zanahoria en este caso). Tengo pensado hacer unos pendientes tipo vintage con estos charms. Estoy muy contenta del resultado de la tortita , bastante translúcida y real .... le estoy cogiendo el truquillo.

These are pictures of some of the cupcake beads I am having in my new creations. These are unique pieces as they have been made for me and at the moment I just have one of each (a pair if they are earrings). Soon in my shops.

This days I have been very lucky and have been selling several things to very different places of the world: Australia (my first time!), USA, France, Germany, Switzerland (also my first time), Monaco (1st time too!).... It all makes me so happy. I know I am not going to get rich but is the idea of my little creatures going around the world in jacket, some one's ears, etc that fulfills me.

Estos días he tenido mucha suerte, he estado vendiendo varias cosas por todo el mundo: Australia (la primera vez), Estados Unidos, Francia, Alemania, Suiza (también primera vez), Mónaco (otro estreno de primera vez)... Y estoy tan feliz. Ya sé que no me voy a hacer rica pero es la idea de mis criaturillas yendo por el mundo en una chaqueta, en las orejas de alguien lo que me hace sentirme realizada.

No tengo mucho tiempo para poner todas las fotos que tengo, aún así tengo bastantes. Por cierto: El concurso sigueeeeeeeee!!!!!

OOPs! And another thing! I am making some tote bags with lovely imported fabrics I hope to post soon!. They are going to be the ultimate thing. I feel like keepeing them all for myself!

Y otra cosita: estoy haciendo bolsos con unas telas preciosas de importación que espero poner pronto para que las veais. Van a ser lo más! :D me dan ganas de quedármelos todos!!!

This is what i did yesterday night. I still have to do many things, working on a swap and trying to decide what to to with some gorgeous japanese frabrics.
Ésto es lo que hice anoche. Tengo todavía que hacer otras muchas cosas, estoy trabajando en un swap e intentando decidir qué hacer con una telas japonesas preciosas

Now I have to go to do the shopping and , as always I will "lose" my car in the parking again, and will be the silly person to do 3 laps to find it! :D Does my car move when I go away? WHy can't they put letters or numbers in that parking?
Ahora me tengo que ir a hacer la compra, como siempre, lo perderé de nuevo,¿se mueve mi coche cuando me voy? y seré la única idiota que tenga que dar 3 vueltas antes de encontrarlo. ¿Por qué no ponen letras o números en ése aparcamiento?

Busy working and crafting

I have been again on supply, lucily this time the school was much better organised than the last one :) it is a much worse area but you get what you see from kids and at the end of the day, with the expection of a pair of them, all are lovely and need some attention. I had time to work and craft a bit, and am very happy because last weekend I sold 3 things (2 to France and 1 to Germany). Besided I drove 2 hours to Birmingham and then Duncan continued down to London (5 hours in total!!!) but it was worth because it was mother day and his mother was delighted to see us. ******************** He estado de sustituta de nuevo, afortunadamente, esta vez el instituto estaba mucho mejor organizado :) es un area bastante peor que el anterior pero con los niños no te equivocas: lo que ves es lo que hay, y en resumidas cuentas, con la excepción de un par de ellos, todos son encantadores y necesitan algo de atención. Tuve tiempo de trabajar y hacer mis complementitos, estoy muyh contenta porque este finde he vendido 3 cosas (2 a Francia y una a Alemania). Además conduje 2 horas hasta Birmingham, donde Duncan tomó el relevo y nos llevó hasta Londres (5 horas en total) . Pero mereció la pena porque era el día de la madre y su madre estaba muy contenta de vernos.
